About

Graduating from the University of Hertfordshire in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy,

Craig’s passion’s lie within crossfit & football, which has defined his career. He has worked with Watford FC, University football teams and worked as assistant Sports Therapist and touchline therapist at Histon FC during the 07/08 and 08/09 season, playing a pivotal role in helping them reach the play-off semi-finals of the Blue Square Premier League.

Craig’s reputation has attracted a number of elite athletes to his clinic, such as World Junior Powerlifting Champion, James Copping, who he worked intensively with leading up to his 2009 title & combined services and british international judo competitor, Lee Carder.

Craig has always had an interest in strength & conditioning and it was whilst spending 2012 living in Sydney, Australia, that he delved in the competitive sport of Crossfit. During training, it was highlighted that there was a clear link between strength & conditioning, Crossfit & sports injuries. This led to the opening of Injury Active’s first sports injury clinic based at a leading strength & conditioning facility in Cambridge.

Craig has a particular interest in kinetic control and pain that is caused by uncontrolled movement and restriction. Craig’s interest is not only identifying injury, but to also understand why a particular injury has occurred as a result of dysfunction, weakness or incorrect biomechanics.

A member of the Society of Sports Therapists, Craig is continuing his professional development and will shortly be studying towards the UKSCA accreditation.
